Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you commission a pack, briefing, or annex from Content Workline.

By sending an enquiry, accepting a scoping note, or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms. Content Workline is the trading name used at 61 Prince Consort Road, Kelshall, SG8 2SL, United Kingdom. English law governs the contract. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

The work

We prepare written education performance reporting from extracts you supply. The scoping note describes the paper, the meeting date, the indicator list, the number of draft rounds, and the fee. Anything not named in that note is outside the engagement. We do not submit statutory returns, manage your information system, or provide legal, audit, or inspection-judgement advice.

Your extracts

You warrant that you have the right to send the files and that you have removed information we have said we do not accept (safeguarding logs, unrestricted pupil names where a hashed identifier would suffice). Delay in extracts delays the pack. We may decline files that contain material outside scope.

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your extracts and of figures that originate in your school or provider. We keep ownership of our chart templates, caption style, and unassigned working notes. On full payment you receive a licence to use the final pack inside your organisation, including circulation to governors, trustees, or board members, and to inspectors during a visit. You may not resell the pack or present it as another supplier’s work.

Liability

Packs are interpretive documents for internal governance. They are not a substitute for professional accountancy, HR, or safeguarding advice. Our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where the law of the United Kingdom does not allow a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). We are not liable for decisions a board takes after reading a pack, nor for ranking or publication of figures by third parties.

Confidentiality

Both parties keep non-public extracts and draft commentary confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or by an inspection body to which you must show papers.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. The version in force is the version linked in your scoping note. For cancellation, deposits, and refunds see the refunds page.
