Privacy notice

This notice explains what we hold, why, for how long, and the rights you have under UK GDPR.

Content Workline, 61 Prince Consort Road, Kelshall, SG8 2SL, United Kingdom, is the data controller for enquiry forms, emails, invoices, and this website. For pupil- or learner-level extracts sent for a commissioned pack, we act as processor on your instructions as the school or provider (controller). Contact hello@content-workline.click or telephone 07976574717.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details: name, email, organisation, chosen paper, meeting window, and message
  • Contract administration: scoping notes, invoices, and payment references
  • Extracts you send, which may include hashed identifiers, year groups, assessment flags, attendance figures, and programme lines
  • Technical logs that our host may keep (IP address, browser type) for security
  • Cookie preference, stored in your browser as described on the cookies page

Purposes and lawful bases

We answer enquiries and perform contracts (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We keep invoices because UK tax law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)). We may send a factual follow-up about an open scoping note under legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), which you can object to. We do not sell lists and we do not use school extracts to write other clients’ packs.

Retention

Enquiry mail that does not become a contract is deleted after 18 months. Contracts, invoices, and scoping notes are kept for six years after the engagement ends. Working extracts are kept for the draft cycle and thirty days after you accept the final pack, unless you instruct earlier destruction in writing. Host logs follow the host’s standard rotation.

Processors and transfers

Email and hosting providers may process data in the United Kingdom or in countries covered by a UK adequacy regulation. If a transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or addendum, we will say so in the scoping note. We do not send pupil-level files to generative writing services.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Rights of pupils and learners in extracts are exercised through the school or provider that controls that data; we will assist that controller.

Children

This website is written for staff and governors, not for pupils. We do not knowingly collect enquiry data from children.
