Inspection-window charts

A tightly scoped set of charts and captions for a school or provider that expects an inspection visit and already holds a self-evaluation.

Who it is for

Heads and quality nominees who have a written self-evaluation and need the supporting charts consistent with that text.

What you receive

A short chart pack that matches the claims already in your SEF, with captions that inspectors can read in a corridor conversation.

Only the indicators named in your self-evaluation. We do not rewrite the SEF.

Included

  • Alignment read of your current self-evaluation
  • Chart pack and caption sheet
  • One revision after SLT comment

Not included

  • Mock inspection
  • Staff interviews
  • Rewriting the self-evaluation document

Who prepares it

Associate with recent inspection-framework reporting experience in England.

How the work runs

  1. SEF alignment We list every quantitative claim in the self-evaluation.
  2. Chart pack Each claim gets a chart or a note explaining why a chart would mislead (small n, new provision, etc.).

Timeline

Two to three weeks. We will not take work inside an active inspection week.

Where the work happens

Remote; overnight courier of printed copies if you ask.

What to prepare

Current SEF, last published inspection report, and the extracts behind each claim.

Limits we will not stretch

If a claim in the SEF cannot be evidenced from the extract, we flag it rather than drawing a decorative chart.

Fees

From £1,650.

Next step

Send the SEF and the expected inspection window if you know it.
